Women Stand Up!  Are You Ready For Battle?

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.  Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.  In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.  Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

1What is Women Stand Up!?

Women Stand Up! is a 90 minute interactive presentation that challenges women to stand up in spite of the guilt and shame that comes from living in bondage.  The event kicks off with Christine Leahy, as she shares her incredible story of transformation and redemption, surviving depression, abuse, abandonment, and much more.  Her story begins and ends with the courage to be more authentic with self, other women, and with God.  To help women on that journey, Christine facilitates the second half of the event, allowing women in the audience to participate in a voluntary and silent exercise called, Women Stand Up!

The event is best suited for mature middle school, high school girls, college women, and married, divorced, widowed, and single women.
